One weekend, me and my friends toured Manila after visiting our friend’s newly opened business. We ambled around Intramuros’ cobbled-stone streets and enjoyed its almost empty interiors.
It was not yet four PM when we agreed to grab something to eat in nearby Binondo. I was craving for 20 pesos fishball but that quickly turned to a 2000 peso bill. 
Jherson led us to Cafe 1919. I have finally visited this lovely cafe! My friend surely knows what I like. I’m a sucker for old world architecture. The insides were lovely. It was warm and calming. Its Christmas decorations added more charm. Coupled with soothing music, it’s a great date place for couples and barkadas alike. The menu isn’t cheap. But if you’re eating in a group, the price range becomes reasonable enough.

This Cafe is a good venue for the upcoming holidays. It’s a good thing that the management has already decorated the place festively. It’s Christmas season already! I just hope that business will pick up more in the coming weeks.
