Why Stay at Citadines Haeundae Busan

Why Stay at Citadines Haeundae Busan

I originally planned to stay only in Seoul but I realized we have enough time to go down south to South Korea’s second most populous city. My friend and I wanted to see Busan’s famed beaches so booking in the Haeundae area came naturally. Spending our three day holiday in Citadines Haeundae Busan was one of the highlights of our trip to Busan. And its location was just icing on the cake.

We were quite tired upon arrival at the hotel since travel time from Seoul to Busan took more than four hours. From the terminal, we reached the hotel by subway and arrived at Haeundae station after about forty minutes. From the subway, we followed the signs leading to hotel’s main entrance. We didn’t need to go up the road anymore since an elevator brought us right up inside the building. Talk about convenience! We had heavy luggage and those easy transfers made things lighter for us.

Breakfast was served at the hotel restaurant on the 5th floor between 6:30 to 9:30 AM every day. The options were not too many but they were definitely smart choices. Breakfast was served buffet style which was great for big eaters and those with dietary needs.

My friend and I were assigned to stay in a One Bedroom Deluxe (twin bed) with breakfast for two. We had a great view of the city as our room was on the 27th floor. Our room was a welcome change from our nice guesthouse in Seoul. Citadines Haeundae’s more upscale vibe compliments the city’s laid back appeal.

Our room had a nicely built kitchenette with complete amenities. There were televisions both in the living room and bedroom. Our bathroom was divine as it had a bathtub, a large mirror and contemporary toilet. There was also a washing machine stashed in a small room by the window. That was a nice touch though we were unable to do laundry during our visit.

Since Citadines Haeundae Busan was built in a good location, traveling to nearby tourist spots was not a problem at all. Haeundae Beach was just a walk down the street while food spots like Seomyeon Food Street was just a subway ride away. Though we know we could have had cheaper lodging options, our short visit to Busan was made much more enjoyable when we stayed at this property. For me, it’s a great place to stay if visiting a more quieter city like Busan.
