With the recent searing heat enveloping the country, those living in the metro are more exposed to extreme heat and high temperatures. One would choose to stay indoors instead of going out. Being curled up in your air-cooled room seems a much better idea. However, being cooped up in one location can get monotinous for some. That is why taking a vacation, even a staycation nearby, is a considerable option.
Bedroom
Traveling has always been a breather for me. A relaxation of some sort. May it be just in the next town or gallivanting in another country. Of course, the finances always come into play on where I would spend my vacations. The past pandemic has taught me that traveling need not be an expensive and exhausting experience, a simple one, like an overnight hotel stay, can be just as enjoyable too.
I was quite excited to experience a short stay at Gold Coins Staycation, Shore Residences, located in Tower 3. It is very accessible and is only within walking distance from SM MOA. Good thing that my calendar cleared up and I was able to squeeze a quick overnight.
Since the unit is completely equipped with basic cooking utensils, my plan to be a master chef panned out. All I had to do was buy and bring my cooking needs. It was perfect! I was able to cook adobo and rice. A full-sized refrigerator and microwave were available too. The owner also made sure that there was a good stack of ice in the freezer. You can buy drinking water at the convenience stores nearby like Alfamart.
Kitchen & Dining
After cooking and having dinner, I made sure to relax after a having a shower. The bath was spotless, homey and smells good! I liked the huge mirror by the sink because I didn’t have a hard time applying my eye topicals. The aesthetics were a also a nice touch and didn’t make the bathroom feel claustrophobic. Cleaning materials were also stocked and there were many rolls of tissue! I so love a bathroom that is not only immaculately clean but also has a functioning bidet and rolls and rolls of toilet paper. Lol.
Living Room
This studio unit is perfect for two but can still be comfortable up to four persons. The bedroom has comfy pillows and blankets. A futon or soft matress is also available for other guests to use.
Bathroom
For those who love watching films (like me), the unit has a huge TV hang up the against the wall. I just laid down at the sofa across the room and turned off some of the warm lightings. The lights were pretty and decorative. I think I spent some time just memorizing which switch was for which lights. Hahahah!
One night was not enough to fully enjoy my stay. But is was more than to fuel my desire to travel again. Thank you Gold Coins Staycation for a relaxing weekend. <3
