This 18th century, Baroque church sits at the center of capital Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya. This is the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Bayombong. It is also called as Bayombong Cathedral.
The church has undergone massive renovations through the years due to natural calamities. The church has been widened and the interiors reconstructed and painted. But the result is a more refreshing and spacious church.
The church is easily seen from the main road and is just across the People’s Museum and Library. The front yard has a park filled with trees which adds up to the charming feel of the place. There were lots of trees! I hope all places have lots of trees by the way.
