It was my fifth time to land on the shores of Boracay but it was my first time to visit the island during the summer months. A few weeks ago, me and my fellow travel blogger friends Marx and Marcos spent our first night in the distinctly elegant The District Boracay Resort.

The first thing that we had considered in looking for a place to stay in our short island sojourn was the location. And this resort’s location belongs in the A+ list. Not only is it just meters away from the various shops and restaurants but it also has a great view of the sea. The hotel is beach front and is located in Station 2 within walking distance from D’Mall.

Once we arrived, we were welcomed by the friendly staff, complete with complimentary drinks and warm greetings. After our breezy check-in process, we were ushered to our room and the staff who accompanied us was nothing short of attentive. We really felt our needs were properly looked after and that they made sure we were all comfortably settled in.
We stayed in a Deluxe Room which was good for four people. The room was decorated brightly with a sprinkle of earthly tones. Its design was contemporary but at the same time gives a hint of the tropical environment we were in. The spacious and private balcony also gives a gracious view of the pool below.
We arrived at high noon, tired since we almost had no sleep the night before. But we got really excited once we saw our little nook. We decided to nap for a couple of hours after taking our quick lunch.
What I loved most about our room was the set-up of the bathroom wherein the shower area is separated from the toilet. The sink stands in between and the many mirrors completes the sanctuary. Girls would love staying in this area as the hotel has provided a complete set of free toiletries, a hair-dryer, fluffy towels of different uses. Not to mention, the plush bathrobes were a definite plus.
The all-white hotel has four room types: Deluxe Room, Premiere Room, Deluxe Suite and Premiere Suite. Transfer service and buffet breakfast and welcome drinks are complimentary. The hotel currently has 48 rooms, an outdoor pool with jacuzzi and has free Wi-fi.
It also has a couple of dining places to choose from: the Star Lounge and Caruso Ristorante Italiano.

My friends and I could not wait to do countless laps in the cool pool of the hotel. We got the chance to wade in it before we checked out. A little tip, the swim area is best photographed in the mornings.

The resort has an airy ambience during the day and has a romantic vibe at night. I definitely enjoyed our stay here, even for just a short one night.
Do check out The District Boracay Resort when you decide to splurge a little bit on your next Boracay visit. It will be worth it.
